How to have a litter-free environment

1)You can keep a litter bag in your bag or car until you find a garbage bin.

Get a disposable rubbish bag and throw all your rubbish into it, once you find a bin, you just have to throw everything in the bin.

2)Report litterbugs.

If you see any litterbugs(people who litter), report them so that it will teach them a lesson.

3)Make sure your trash have tight-fitting lids to prevent leakage of food or drinks.

If thrown away food and drinks are leaked, it will attract insect and ants and will give the cleaners a hard time cleaning it.

4)Look for ways to beautify your neighbourhood and community, including landscaping and repairing fences. Attractive, maintained neighbourhoods are littered less and research shows that they are safer too.

Speak to the community committee about decorating the neighbourhood with colourful poster to remind the community not to litter and have more recycling bins around to make it more convenience.

5)Changing a common behaviour, like littering , starts with you.  Each  person must accept responsibility for their actions of others around them at home, at school , in your place of business, and in the community at large.

Always throw your recycling materials in the recycling bin, wash all plastic bottles and metal can before recycling them.
